2. What data we collect

When you enquire through our contact form or by phone / email, we collect:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address and phone number
  • The property postcode and area
  • The service you are enquiring about
  • Any project brief or details you choose to share

We do not collect payment information through the website. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

3. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and arrange a site visit
  • Prepare a written quote and project specification
  • Deliver contracted works and manage the client relationship
  • Comply with our legal, tax and insurance obligations

Our legal basis is either your consent (initial enquiry), the performance of a contract (project delivery) or our legitimate interest in running the business.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties that are essential to delivering your project, for example, your appointed architect, party wall surveyor or building control body: and with our accountants, insurers and warranty providers where required.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Project data is retained for the length of the applicable warranty period (25 years) and any statutory limitation period thereafter.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing and request a copy in portable form. Email us at sales@uhmbasements.co.uk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Access to enquiry data is limited to directors and senior staff, and stored on encrypted UK / EU-hosted services.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via this page.
